MMO's are not an influence, they are a distraction. RPG's are a different matter - lots of inspiration to be found there *casts a sidelong glance at the half a million or so words she wrote for Dragon Age*.

My main rp background though is live roleplay. Therefore when I write from the PoV of a character, they are sitting in my head in the exact same way they do if I'm playing them.
