Ahh see I never made it as far as the satisfyingly hilarious death scenes of Little Nell or of Pip's love life or anything of that sort because I just couldn't stick it out!

Wow, I love that. And am a little sheepish to say that it's sort of how I write. Not quite to that extent (or perhaps sometimes more? oh man) but definitely in the neighbourhood of crack-and-pomposity induced wurbling at times. So naturally I would most likely love this book and will get a copy right away.
