Ages ago, on PoT, we had a post where people listed useful books on writing, or for writers. I'd suggest that we have something similar, but instead of just a post that will vanish into the ether, a tag that takes you to a list. Some time this week, I'll find the PoT post and get us a starting list of recommended books from it.
